Emil Chan is a FinTech advocate, digital transformation consultant, startup mentor, adjunct lecturer, and author with extensive experience in cross-border financial system design and operations — spanning traditional banking through to emerging Web3 and DeFi business strategies.
In recent years, Emil has been dedicated to building a robust incubation environment in the Greater Bay Area to drive the development of the next generation of FinTech ecosystems. Beyond providing advisory services to corporates and SMEs, he serves as a startup mentor and advisory board member at Cyberport.
He has served as adjunct professor, guest lecturer, and speaker at leading universities including CityU, HKU, PolyU, HKUST, HKBU, CUHK, and VTC for over a decade.
